Actor Tom Lloyd recalls how he came out….
I never really had to come out because I was never really in the closet to begin with.
This isn’t to say that I was always aware of being gay, but I was aware of my attraction to men before I gave it a label around my early teens and simply embraced those feelings, this didn’t manifest into a conversation with my family it was simply excepted and evolved from there.
I’m incredibly proud of that and hope more share that experience in the future. Due to that instant unquestionable acceptance from the people that loved me, I’ve never had one moment of questioning myself, or feeling different, ostracised or wrong in any circle because of my sexuality.
Because of my family’s unconditional love I can say whole heartedly ‘thank god I am gay’.
