Leona Lewis… remember her?

She was the scorching hot winner of The X Factor who took on the world and conquered it.
But for the past few years she’s been keeping a rather low profile since splitting from Simon Cowell’s record label.
But as fortune would have it, we stumbled across this little-seen YouTube clip of the foxtress singing the stunning City Of Stars from the movie La La Land, which came out this on DVD and BluRay his week.
And what a delight it is. As you can imagine, Leona takes control of the song like a trooper but never overpowers it. In fact, she makes it sound even more emotional than the ever so fragile version sung by Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in the film.
Meanwhile, a remix version of City Of Stars is also available to download.
Sadly it’s not a hiNRG version of the track – which we can just imagine Steps getting their chops around – but features more instruments and a rat-a-tat-tat drum beat.
